Can't join servers, says I'm missing mods

Description of Problem:

I have Tekkit set to version 3.1.1, the same as the servers I try to join. But when I try to join a server, it says I'm missing about 15 different mods. I even downloaded the server files, ran the server, and I still have the same problem on it.

You got it presumably because the server you are trying to join is using a different build than you.
