Mod Select won't work. Tried all popular solutions.

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Windows 7 (64-bit)

Java Version: Java 7u5 (64-bit)

Antivirus Program: none, and no firewall

Description of Problem:

I've tried to reinstall java, delete my tekkit folder and recreate, and my .cgf is set to notepad. What am I missing here?

@ Jay I have tried. I went to config and my default program is notepad.

For the error log there is one that is already a text document, and one that is a "file" that I opened with notepad. Which should I post? Let me know if needed. the "file" reads as "launcher_0.log.1" is short and the text document "launcher_0.log" is long.

What version are you trying to launch? the newer dev builds have Forge Mod Loader, which our button doesn't work with yet.

It won't work with any. I've gone as low as 3.0.0 and still no dice.

Does this forum frown upon replies as a "double post" so I should "edit" my answers or does it matter?

You should edit your previous post in almost all situations.

Have you tried going to your modloader folder, right clicking the cfg, and choosing notepad (or whatever you want) as the default?

The button doesn't know what program to open it with unless your system already knows.
