Tekkit server login issues

I have installed the complete tekkit to a server for me and some friends however i have ran into this problem. When I log onto the server from my house i get on just fine however when my firend tries to log on he gets this message

Must have Forge Build #136+ (4096 fix) to connect to this server

We are both playing straight from the technic launcher on tekkit settings.

We reinstalled his technic pack 3 times and got the same message.

Any ideas as to what could be happening.

Again it works for me it wont work for him.
