I downloaded the launcher. But! I have four other javas which you see in this pic: And then when i choose the first java platform SE binary it freezes like so: Please help. 0 Feanorith Posted August 1, 2012 Share Posted August 1, 2012 Try open with > choose default program > browse > C:\program files\java\jre6\bin\java.exe or C:\program files\java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe If you don't have the jre6 folder, make sure you download the appropriate java 6 jre first. Tried the jre 6 javaw.exe freezes and then tried again with the jre 7 javaw.exe same thing. the java.exe from both bring up the console box but then quickly closes it.
