It freezes and doesn't run

Description of Problem:

So I downloaded the latest JRE which is 7_5. I downloaded the launcher. But! I have four other javas which you see in this pic:

And then when i choose the first java platform SE binary it freezes like so:

Please help.

Try open with > choose default program > browse > C:\program files\java\jre6\bin\java.exe or C:\program files\java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe

If you don't have the jre6 folder, make sure you download the appropriate java 6 jre first.

Nope still doesn't run. Tried the jre 6 javaw.exe freezes and then tried again with the jre 7 javaw.exe same thing. the java.exe from both bring up the console box but then quickly closes it.

Did you install Java 7u5?

Try deleting the techniclauncher folder.

I'm getting the same problem I've tried the above fixes but none have worked so far. The launcher just goes to the banner and freezes.
