Title: tekkit runs vinilla

Version: 3.1.1

OS: windows 7 64 bit

Java Version: jre-7u5-windows-x64

Description of Problem:

when i run tekkit and start a new single player world, no tekkit items, ores, materials can be found or crafted. it seems like no mods are installed.

Do i need to be playing on a server whilst playing tekkit or do i have to try technic to play single player?

are you launching the tekkit jar correctly? does the server console indicate it loads mods? are you running the server from a host? are you using a world that has been used before in vanilla?

Redownload tekkit. It's happened to me in the past.

how do i fix this?

i believe you re download tekkit or the launcher, search the forums

I've tried both a couple times and i still keep getting the same message.

at 1 point i somehow managed to install minecraft forge manually and when i tried to join a server, it says that i need every other mod in tekkit.
