technic loads then freezes at "Technic Launcher" and won't do anything after and hogs my screen.

Have you tried disabling Kaspersky? I know it's not on the list, but it's not an extremely common AV software, so...it could be causing trouble and not enough people are experiencing that for us to know it.

I have tried disabling both kaspersky and my firewall and still got nothing, btw could having already updating minecraft to 1.3 could that cause problems?

I am really sure I had uninstalled the 32 bit java, but in the proccess i uninstalled all of java then reinstalled jre and jdk 64 bit, am I missing any java programs?

By some chance earlier i restarted my laptop after i re-installed jre and got it open but the program was blank, won't show any image's and said the tumblr feed was down and that it failed to update.
