Can't join any Tekkit Server

Title: Can't join any Tekkit Server

Version: 3.1.1

OS: Windows 64-bit

Java Version: Java 7 Update 5

Description of Problem:

Whenever I try joining any Tekkit server, I'm able to join for a couple of seconds, then my computer freezes goes in black screen and comes back to normal a couple of seconds, and comes with the message: The screendriver: AMD as stopped working, and has been started again.

Is there any way to fix this?

I can't get any, seeing as it's a small noitice.

If you're playing, you have a launcher log. Post it. This looks like a graphics card/driver glitch, though, so you may want to update your (video drivers, that is).

Had same problem may also consider looking into turning off your crossfire if you have it enabled. Fixed mine.

I'm not the best at computers nor hardware...

But how would I go aroung doing that, Terran?

I've tried updating my drivers, but they're already updated to the newest version.

From when I start the launcher, till it crashes when I join a server.

i just the amd vision control center, on the left hand side of the window there is a list of things near the bottom you will see performance, click that, then you should see amd overdrive and amd crossfirex or just crossfire maybe. i click amd crossfirex. Then i get near the center of the window two options enable and disable just make sure the blue dot is beside disable hit apply and your done.

Im running the newest CCC, and using a 4850hdx2 card, so mine may be different im not sure but if things aren't the same either come back here or ask amd how to disable it.

This only works if your running dual cards, if your only running one card then idk. contact amd that is who helped me in the end.
