Problem Connecting

Description of Problem:

I keep reinstalling tekkit but I can't seem to connect to minecraft.net. I still have internet access but it's not connecting. it says "Oh noes! Our tumblr feed is down!"

and where you login in at says "Could not connect to minecraft.net"

Try:

1) Getting a new copy of the launcher.

2) Deleting your lastlogin and launcher.properties file. Note that this will require you to change launcher options back if you weren't using defaults.

This is happening to me as well but when I delete my lastlogin and then click on the launcher the rectangle technic launcher box appears and just stays in the middle of my screen doing nothing.
