New to Technic...

Hello, I'm new to Technic and just have a few questions...

1. Is there no cheat mode? Like to enter the /xp (username) (amount) ?

I cant seem to get the chat window to open to do commands or anything...

2. I used the installer but there was no thingy to choose which mods I wanted or didn't want... is it a glitch or is there another way to do it?

3. Is Technic not updated yet for 1.3.1? It says its 1.2.5

4. Is there a better way to fly with the jetpack... Like a way to hover?

A Technic question should probably go in the Technic section, but that's just an educated guess.

1. NEI? You just have to press "x" to bring up the cheat mode enchanting.

2. You have to go in mod loader's config file, for now.

3. No, and not anytime soon. Practically none of the mods have been updated yet.

4. Swiftwolf gale seems to be what you're searching. Just type swiftwolf in the search bar of NEI, and it'll come up. It's pretty expensive though.

Xylord, When I press x it brought up the large map for Rei's minimap thing, so I changed it to a different key... but now when I press X nothing comes up?

EDIT: I searched the swiftwolf gale, and there is 4 different ring looking things, and a few other things. How do these work? Just seems to be throwing tiny tornadoe things lol...

Your inventory has to be open when you press x.

For the swift wolf gale to operate, you need a klein star with a charge. It consumes EMC pretty slowly. The four rings are just the same ring in different states, they all are the same item.

1 In NEI cheat mode, no.

2, put klein star in a transmutation table (Look it up), put some crap in the burn slot, and when you have a few thousand EMC, you should be good for a while. The Klein star will act as a battery and contain all the EMC.

Ok well, once I get it some charge on the klein thingy, is there a certain command? Holding the swiftwolf ring and right clicking just throws tornado looking things
