Techniclauncher Java Problem

Antivirus Program: F-Secure

Description of Problem:

fter updating my java I had trouble accessing minecraft.

This thread had the answer to my problem, although it only resolves the issue with the

When I try to run tekkit I still cannot connect! I tried downgrading my java, that way I got

the techniclauncher to work, so I know it's the same problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

it's for the launcher! When I run the launcher with java 1.7 it wont connect to minecraft.net

Well, the minecraft.net auth servers have been up and down for the last couple days. Try deleting your lastlogin and launcher.properties files, and running the launcher again. If that doesn't work, get an entirely new copy of the launcher.
