Macerator problems

I seem to be having problems getting ore to go into my macerator correctly.

I've got a simple design chest of iron ore pumps into macerator via wodden and stone transport tubes but the ore keeps on going into the wrong slot in the macerator, instead of going into the macerating slot to be turned into dust it goes into the output slot.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Input should be from the top, I think. Note though that using pneumatic tubes instead of pipes will usually be better - they're smarter and lag less and in general are just great.

Cheers dude got it working very much newbie to tekkit but I will give the pneumatic tubes a go :)

Pneumatic tubes are a lot simpler to get working than buildcraft pipes usually, so if you know how BC works you'll probably find the tubes very easy. The key rule to know is that they always takes the shortest path.
