Updating tekkit

So i was wondering, when will tekkit be updated. Well obviously asking this question isnt allowed per the rules.

So instead, what is the actual process for getting it updated? Beside the obvious waiting for the individual mods to be updated.

If a mod is taking forever to be updated, do you cut it out?

You do realize you're just taking a roundabout way of asking when it's going to be updated, right?

Well, yes and no. I know its going to be a long while before it gets updated, and you really have no idea when anyway, so asking directly has no point. Instead i decided it would be cool to know all the work that goes into putting a pack of this size and awesomeness together. This wouldn't even give me a time anyway.

Ah. Well, pretty much only the admins would know any details about that. I would guess if a mod truly takes forever, or is declared to be unsupported after 1.2.5 (which a lot might be, with 1.3.1 being what it is), it would get dropped. I would just accept that it's going to be 1-3 months at a minimum, and enjoy the version that's there while it's there.

1.3.1 is such a large update i wouldnt be surprised with mods being broken. Although the Modding API coming in 1.4 will help so much.
