Tekkit launcher won't work no matter the provided help. (Fix'd)

Launcher Version: 3.1.2

Operating System: Windows 7 (64 Bit)

Java Version: 7 (64 bit)

Antivirus Program: Previously AVG (Uninstalled long time ago)

My friend has just informed me that Tekkit is not updated to 1.3.1. I shall go bang my head against a wall and stay hidden for the rest of eternity now.

Is your network connection ok?

EDIT: Also, from the logs, you're not running 64 bit Java. Multiple Java runtimes can coexist peacefully, so make sure to set Java 7 64bit as the default runtime.

Well, like I stated in the Pastebin, I have NO clue when that log was.... logged. There hasn't been any recent crashed that would trigger the log so it could contain misleading information.

Um, how would that matter? Your .minecraft and .techniclauncher are completely separate. 1.3.1 update wouldn't affect Technic or Tekkit in the least.

Well apparently it didn't work for him on 1.3.1 but when he downgraded back to 1.2.5 it worked.

That makes no sense. As I said, Technic and Tekkit are completely separate from your vanilla Minecraft install. All I can say is, (after backing up your saves, of course) delete your .techniclauncher and try again.

It's not fixed, this issue has popped up with numerous people and it is completely unable to be fixed, or at least I haven't seen a single person report that it is working who stated they have the problem.
