I can't seem to get the water into my pool.

I'm trying to pump some water from the ocean into a pool I've built. I made a pump, and some pipes, set it all up, but the water seems to be caught in the pipes and won't flow through to my pool. I'm using restone engines to power my pump and waterproof stone pipes to bring the water to my pool. Is there something I'm missing? Do I need another pump? Is there better pipes?

Any help please would be fabulous.

No...pipes don't overflow, they stay there.
