Launcher Version: The newest for 1.3.1

Operating System: Windows (64x)

Java Version: The one technicpack.net tells is needed.

Antivirus Program: AVG, Avast!

Description of Problem:

When I start up the launcher, I choose tekkit, type in my password and username and sign in. Then it loads the minecraft.jar file, and by that, everything is random. The loadingbar has gotten as far as 56% and as low as 2% before standing still for about 30sec. then it says Download failed and I'll have to exit out of technic and try again. I've done it all....I've updated java 7 times! I've spent hours on serching for help on Youtube, without any luck. This is really my last chance. Please help me if you think you might be able to!

Disable your anti virus. Specifically AVG. It will prevent the update from completing. You can enable it again after the update completes.
