Raghtur Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Have a question about the buildcraft tanks, once you have filled them with whatever liquid, is it possible to emptying them back out onto the ground automatically? For example, you use a pump to empty a lake of water so you can build something under the lake, once it's done, can you then put the lake back by pumping the tank out back into the lake area either using something from buildcraft or one of the other tekkit mods? Thanks for any help that you can give.
Tulwean Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 You can do it with redpower pipes. You will need to pump it in to a holding tank that you have to build your self and big enought to hold all the water. Coming off of build craft tanks I'm not sure. I'm not sure if you can hom up redpower pipes to the tanks.
Raghtur Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 I'm not looking to go from one tank to the other, looking to empty a buildcraft tank into a dry area of ground somehow. If this can be done somehow with a holding tank it's something I'm not familar with, only been playing with any of the mods of technic/tekkit for about a week or two now.
Raghtur Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 gotcha New_Pro, thanks for the help. Will this fill in all the spaces automatically of the area being pumped say a 10x10x4 dry area, or do I need to mess around with things a bit?
Tulwean Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Yea it will fill just put the grate at the level that you want the water at.
The_New_Pro Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Thanks again New_Pro Anytime thats what im here to do.
