Disconnecting Issue

Not sure if this is the right place to place this thread but I can't see a 'support' section

 

My friend hosts a legends server on his PC and I connect to it directly, along with others we play with. However my issue is that my PC gets disconnected from the internet after an unpredictable amount of time after connecting to the server. This doesn't happen to the other 5 people who join the server, just me.

We haven't been able to work out the problem and I am wondering if anyone suffers / has suffered from this problem and whether or not there's a fix. I am on wireless and an ethernet isn't possible at the moment.

What I've tried:

• Reinstalling the modpack - All mods are there, no errors
• Disabling my PC's firewall
• Disabling my router's firewall
• Opening ports
• Different wireless adapters
• Different public IP addresses (his end)

There are no errors or messages in his logs, only says that I've disconnected.

The only thing I can think is that my router is disconnecting me for some reason. It's weird as it only seems to happen on this modpack (haven't played any others and vanilla was fine) and other games don't cause this problem.

Router: Sky SR102

When I connect to the server, the program uses ~3Mbps whilst joining and then decreases to ~0.1Mbps.

Could it be a P2P issue?
