Question about the update

Hello, I'm thinking about buying a server and making it tekkit. I'm worried that Tekkit for 1.3.1 will be out x-x. Will it take a while to be out or.... what? I know that all the mods have to update and stuff.

This is perilously close to asking for a release date, but you should be okay. As for your question, in order for Tekkit to be updated to 1.3.1, every single mod and all of their dependencies will need to be updated. Then a testing period will be required, then bugs will be fixed, etc. So no you are fine to set up a server for Tekkit now as it will be a long time before Tekkit for 1.3.1 is out.
