bennyOAO Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 I have download the tekkit server 3.1.2.zip and extract it When i double click the launch.bat he said "tekkit server>java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit." What should i do to fix it? Plz help me... Quote
ba12348 Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 The server is trying to reserve more ram than it can, edit the launch file to read tekkit server>java -Xmx1G -Xms1G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui And it should be able to start. I dont know anything about your computer mind you, but 1 gig is usually a good number to start at. Note that while you may have 2 gigs available, java needs it in a "heap" all in one place, it cant be used for page swapping. Quote
