  1. Ive never used them before, but look into the crop-matron and buildcraft's stripe pipe. http://minecraftbuildcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Stripe_Pipe http://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Crop-Matron
  2. Did you use the EU reader on the cables, or on the actual generator while it is charging its internal storage? Check any transformers/storage devices too, took me several tries to learn that batboxes/mfe's/mfsu's have the output on the special side, but transformers have it on the input side.
  3. The server is trying to reserve more ram than it can, edit the launch file to read And it should be able to start. I dont know anything about your computer mind you, but 1 gig is usually a good number to start at. Note that while you may have 2 gigs available, java needs it in a "heap" all in one place, it cant be used for page swapping.
  4. Hmm, I wondered about that, The goal was to make a floor that couldn't be spawned on, but was otherwise unnoticeable. I'm going to try replacing the slab layer with glass blocks, and either paint the CF below, or lower that by 1 block and do the slab design between it and the glass.
  5. Ah, I see, What about using wireless redstone to make a piston reveal the teleporter when you activate it, then cover it back up when you step off?
  6. Teleporters are supposed to work on the three blocks above them, meaning that theoretically you could cover them with an entire block. Never tried it myself though.
  7. I've had the same issue, and poking around on Google has revealed that the EE pedestal does not work in Tekkit SMP, for the most part, it does still work occasionally or partially (swiftwolfs rending gale arrows appear, but do no damage for instance).
  8. I run a small server for a friend and myself, and we recently decided to colonize the nether. All is going well (quantum suits make this too easy) except we still have a pigmen problem in our building. The floor is a layer of construction foam, with a platform of the redpower cover blocks, both smoothstone and cobblestone, and we still have an issue with pigmen spawning. Logic would dictate that these are non-solid blocks and the pigmen shouldn't be able to spawn, does the game recognize them as solid? Pictures: Interdiction torches were to separate the area I had put panels on from the solid floor, there was also a magma cube when I went to take this picture, but it tried to kill me. P.S. since this is my first post here, do the Technic forums not have a
