Darker Colroed Sub Blocks

I have tried Googling this and searching through forum search and also manually looking through multiple sections of the forums, but haven't found this problem, let alone answer, anywhere.

All my sub-blocks (hollow, anti-cover, triple cover, etc.) are darker colored than my regular blocks. It has been like this all through Tekkit 2 and up to the newest current version right now of 3.

(Not sure if they will work, but I uploaded two pictures as examples from inside my server of how they are reacting, even when I fully illuminate them with light.
