tekkit problem

Hi this might be the wrong thread to post this but i couldnt figure out how to post a question...

So i watched a video on youtube and i did everything correct multiple times but when i run my server than try to connect to it on tekkit launcher , it wont connect

Any ideas ?

its not a bug though i dont think i just dont know whats going on

Is your server running? Do you get an error message? Are you sure you set the server up correctly? Did you type the right IP?

the server is running, no error message, i believe i did ive follwed more than one tutorial and they all do the same and i believe ive correctly done it , and yes i have the right hamachi ip

What does it say when you try to connect?

tekkit says failed to connect the server says nothing

Are you sure that you are port forwarding to the right port? Also, assuming you are running the server of the machine you play Tekkit on, have you tried connecting using local ip (127.0.0.1)?
