I've tried deleting the meta-inf folder, uninstalling, deleting, and reinstalling everything, but nothing works. If you had, you should have read that AVG is very often responsible for causing the launcher to fail to run and/or fail to download correctly. Also, please realize that moderators are not here to play tech support. They're here to make a reasonable effort at making sure the rules are followed. There are a minimum of 30-40 new threads a day, the vast majority of which wouldn't have to be here. Try disabling your antivirus while running the launcher. If that doesn't work, remove it entirely. I guess I had a misunderstanding of the purpose of the mods to help players get their main product working (Yeah they aren't charging for the product, but you'd think it'd be in the best interest of everyone to try and at least get the thing to work.) Have you tried all the obvious solutions posted in a million other threads? Make sure AVG is disabled/removed. Completely delete the techniclaunch folder from the %appdata% folder and try again. Make sure you only have one copy of java installed, and that it's up to date and the right one for your PC (64 bit or 32 bit). Try running it in xp sp3 compatability mode. I have actually seen situation where AVG will allow the download while it's disabled, but screw it up somehow so the launcher/mod packs won't run correctly. Then, when AVG is uninstalled completely, and the mod pack(s) in question reinstalled with it gone, they work fine. I would follow bossgx700's advice. I redownloaded Java 64 Bit I Uninstalled and Wiped our AVG from my system I redownloaded the Technic Launcher I completely uninstalled and reinstalled TechnicSSP TWICE Even with everything that I did I still have the white screen on the launcher. In order to play minecraft I have to use a WindowsProfileFix program to create a new location for Minecraft to run. (Username is Gamer Rig! and java doesn't recognize the !) So every time I move the .techniclauncher to the same location, it creates a new folder in my appdata/roaming section of my User Profile. Is there anyway I can get the Technic Launcher to recognize where my Minecraft files are and where they are being loaded from? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As for changing the profile name, it doesn't actually change the folder where all of the user profile files are stored, and that file name is AFAIK unchangeable. Thanks for all the help though. Description of Problem:
After downloading all updates the Launcher loads a new screen that is a white blank screen. I've tried deleting the meta-inf folder, uninstalling, deleting, and reinstalling everything, but nothing works.
