Connecting to Tekkit Servers

Hi

I've considered posting this is the bugs/problems section (before that bubble passes though your mind) but I don't think it's a bug or a problem, I think it's more to do with my capabilities with technology (which are next to nothing)

Alright with that out the way,

I've installed the Technic Launcher and I'm using the Tekkit pack (2 creepers, black background) but whenever I try and connect to a server I get this message after a while of "logging in":

"Internal exception: Java.net.SocketExeption: Connection reset"

I think I downloaded the Linux/JAR file Technic but I don't know if thats relevant (because I got another error message when I try to open the windows version saying that "The system can not find the specified file (then too much text to c+p))

-Yes I have Minecraft

-No it is not Pirated, I bought it

-Yes my Minecraft works fine

-Yes my Tekkit works perfect in single player

Does anyone know the Problem with my Tekkit? If so How to fix it?

Try to connect to another server. The error is that theres no sever thats responding to your clients ping request on the other end of that IP, but it keeps trying, then sends a timeout msg.
