Waterproof Pipes to Geothermal Generator

Supposedly in IC2's wiki it says buildcraft's waterproof pipes can be used to pipe in lava to the geothermal generator. I can't get it to work. Is this because IC2 / Buildcraft is still a few versions behind? I couldn't find info on when this feature was added.

Yes, this was added in this latest version of IC2, which is not what is in the current Tekkit. If it makes you feel any better, powercrystal's GeoThermal MK2 is directly responsible for causing the base IC2's geothermal being changed in this way.
