Tekkit Blocks Not Loading Until Really Close

I've been playing technic and tekkit fine until today, the chunks don't load until I'm really close to them. Is there a reason for this? I have my view distance set to the maximum and they still are just blank until I get close :/ My computer can handle it because I've been playing like this for a while, it just started up today.
