Antivirus Program: AVG

Description of Problem:

Failed to download technic from the launcher ( the .exe one.) It says Technic Installer Update is not working.

Error Messages:

None.

Get rid of AVG, it is causing the problem. Note also that simply disabling it is not always enough. I recommend uninstalling it and getting a free anti-virus like Avast. Also Dell is not an operating system and the Launcher Version is not Windows.

Ohhh. Uhm my dad wont let me get rid of AVG................. SO am I screwed?

You can try disabling AVG it but I doubt that will work. Tell him it sucks and that Avast is free and better? If that doesn't work I think you are screwed.
