warhawk927 Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Hey, I have forestry in my SMP server and I wanna know how to disable forestry ores from spawning so I don't get double ores. Quote
The_DarthMoogle Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Eh, the ore dictionary should handle that. Check that the versions of Forge and Forestry match up. Also, if you are using the Forestry 3 beta, things could be messed up in that regard. Quote
warhawk927 Posted August 19, 2012 Author Posted August 19, 2012 Thanks but what is the ore dictionary? Thanks :D Quote
The_DarthMoogle Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 The ore dictionary is there for cross compatibility between mods like Industrialcraft, RedPower and Forestry, that use similar ores like copper or tin. Quote
The_DarthMoogle Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 It's bundles with Forge, but as I said, you probably have mismatched versions, or a beta of Forestry. I'm afraid I can't be of any more help here. Quote
pantong Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 google bro, Server forestry for Bukkit: https://d186ocprvpb7jc.cloudfront.net/mods/forestry-1.4.6.1-mcpc1.2.5-r7.zip Client: http://bit.ly/KxDh4X Make sure u put a letter Z in front of the file name! And wolla, u now have forestry it wont have double ore's, if your crying about it to make sure, go to your tekkit server folder(or ssp folder), config, forestry, lines 51-52 change to false. i have not had a problem with double ore's after just a normal install. Edit:i was too lazy to copy paste ;p <3 Quote
JohnScarlet Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Its in the config files for forestry: world.generate.apatite=true # set to false to force forestry to skip generating beehives in the world world.generate.beehives=true # set to false to force forestry to skip generating own copper ore blocks in the world world.generate.copper=false # set to false to force forestry to skip generating own tin ore blocks in the world world.generate.tin=false Edit: Damnit I didn't read pantong's post properly. Use my answer if you're too lazy to look up line numbers. Quote
