ScowlingMarrow8 Posted August 20, 2012 Share Posted August 20, 2012 I have hosted many server(Vanilla, Bukkit,etc) myself, but I have been struggling with adding more RAM to Tekkit server. Every time I try to add more RAM into the launcher @echo off "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx2048m -Xms1024m -jar Tekkit.jar nogui pause>nul I always get an error if the RAM is over 1 gig and the server wont open. Is it going to be ok if I allocate more RAM in "TechnicLauncher" while the server launcher has less? .I have 8 gigs of RAM and is using only 2 without opening the server.
