Custom Maps Help

I was really confused w/ technik pack so i used the power of google to find a tutorial map on this forum.

My question is how do i use it. I use a mac and near my mc folder in application support i found a tekkit packthing but when i put my map in there i couldn't find it when i actually logged in. Please Help

Are you putting it in .techniclauncher\technicssp (or tekkit)\saves? You didn't say you put it there and for all I know you could've put it in a new folder called maps.

where is .tichniclauncher? I'm using a mac btw remember?

i went to the place the mc folder is and i went to technic pakcs or something and in there i found a "saves" folder
