Zinriel Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 hey so i started a server with tekkit host, but i want to run the server with a custom map, or at least a seed, how do i do so? and the custom map im talking about is somthing ive made previously in tekkit, so it would be compatable Quote
mikekrason Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 TekkitHost provides FTP access, so upload your map folder to the server, and change the "WorldName" option in multicraft to the name of your map folder. If you don't know what FTP is... Google it or do something else. In order for me to explain it, this post would be a novel. Quote
Zinriel Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 there are 3 world folders for the map i want "world" "world_nether" and "world_the_end" never went to the end on the server, so do i need to do somthing with the nether folder? the world i made was from a previous server, that i ran from my computer, but i decided to use tekkit host cuz my computer couldnt handle it properly Quote

If you want the Main Overworld, and the Nether, just move "world" & "world_nether". Since they are called "world", you don't have to screw with Multicraft. Just upload the maps, and start the server. Make sure you delete the maps on the server first, and transfer the files with the server OFF. Then simply start the server, and enjoy! Quote
