Need help setting my VPS up?

Hello,

Today I bought a VPS for Minecraft and I was wanting to make it run Tekkit, so I did everything everyone said and installed CraftBukkit on it through McMyAdmin and then dragged the Tekkit server files into the directory, and renamed the Tekkit.jar to craftbukkit.jar, but when I go to start the server, the server gets a launch error. Can anyone Skype me and help me set this up, I will give you special permissions on my server?

Please post the launch error.

Since it is a VPS, I'm assuming that it's managed, you also mentioned McMyAdmin. If it came preinstalled, try contacting support, they should sort it out for you if your server won't even launch.
