Title: Negative EMC

Version: 3.1.2

OS: Win7

Java Version: 7

Description of Problem:

I've amassed a lot of RM, and kept putting it into my transmuation tablet, but now I have a negative number (Java can only go up to about 2 billion, after that it goes negative and back to 0). I can't make any items, presumably because the game makes a check to see if your EMC is a certain amount, and mine is always less than that, according to the computer. The server admin has a mindset of "you got yourself into this mess", which is BS because I had no idea that would happen and that furthermore, he wouldn't do anything about it. I'm fairly sure its a matter of editing the EE files for me to be around 2 billion (I'd lose quite a bit by doing that, its not like I'm asking for more EMC). Anyway, I'm wondering if theres anything I'm missing that I can do to fix this situation without his help. Any ideas?

Without his help? You could hope for EE (and Tekkit) to update and changing negative EMC values to the maximum positive, as well as preventing this scenario to begin with.

Other than that, what happens if you put an empty Klein Star into it and remove it again? If that fails, I suppose you could shrug off your loss and try resetting it to zero by destroying the tablet and placing it again.

It is a bug with EE, and without altering the core of the mod (serverside), you cant do much. Its kinda like u have to consider that u lost alot of EMC, and as Fire say, destroy and replace it.

That won't work with a portable tablet. He'll have to get the server admin to delete his tablet file, after which everything will have to be repatterned. That will be...painful.

How did you manage 2 billion EMC anyway? That's...40 Klein Omegas full.

And i wonder why ppl call EE "gamemode 1" ....

Because it effectively is? I would say it's better in some ways than creative and worse in others.
