but i want to know if there is any extra requirements from normal minecraft also the amount of space it takes up thank you!

Other than a legitimate account you dont need anything to use the Technic launcher. Not sure how much space it takes up but it is tiny afaik

Yes. The normal client is...quite small, maybe a few MB installed, unless the sounds take up more than I think they do. Tekkit is still fairly small as modern games go, being only about 70-75MB for the client. However, Tekkit save files can add up fairly quickly - the world on my server, for example, is over 400MB and growing.
