Can't find java directory

Java Version: 7 update 7

Antivirus Program: MS security essentials

Description of Problem:

I updated to java 7 update 7 earlier today from update 5. Now when I try and open the technic launcher it displays a message saying "can't find java directory."

Error Messages:

Can't find java directory

Forget this. It turns out the updater only installed the 32 bit version of the new java update. I just installed the 64 bit version myself and it works again.
