Tekkit and mods

Hello, i need help or information or discussion about something.

i have my server up running, and there is few mods i would love to install, but there is problem with way installing it, seems am not doing it the correct way.

if i put the "zip" folder into mod folder either in tekkit folder or the tekkit SERVER mod folder, doesn't work, tried to take out files from inside zip and put it, some worked, some either didn't give me ANY CHANGES at all or gave me error.

mods i been trying to install -> Flan's mod / Mobtalker mod/ Morecreepers mod.

i just ask for any kind person to help me. ><

sidenote: i have version 1.2.5 of the tekkit server as i saw there was 1.3.1 already...

Are these mods even SMP?

If i'm not mistaken, you can only add SMP mods that have been ported for bukkit, to tekkit server, since the server is run through bukkit
