Mystcraft in tekkit help

Ok so i have installed mystcraft to tekkit for my ssp world but when ever i make a descriptive book the game freezes. No black or white screen it just freezes. Ive tried putting it in the .jar and the mods folder and i get the same thing please help me

Sorry I cant help your problem, but why would you play tekkit SSP? Tekkit is supposed to be multiplayer, technic is single-player.

How about some more information?

For single player, you can probably just grab the newest forge version and toss it into your modpack.jar. If you intend to play online (what Tekkit was designed for), you need to get the forge version of 0.9.1.02 (client) because that's the only version with a bukkit port at the moment (I believe).
