Program never executes

Launcher Version: 7.2.7

Operating System: Windows

Java Version: 1.7.0_05 from Oracle Corporation

Antivirus Program: Norton 360, which lists the Launcher as safe.

Description of Problem:

Every time I try to open Technic Launcher, I get a window that says "Checking Launcher Verision" which disappears after a split second and closes the program. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the launcher, but that does not change anything.

It does not appear that there are any files relating to this program other than the application itself, which is still in the downloads folder. I do not see a folder in my program files that connects to Technic.

Usual problem, fix it by creating a new batch file to '%appdata%/.techniclauncher', call it whatever you want, and placing this text inside it:

java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar technic-launcher.jar nogui

Then use that batch file to run the launcher.
