when i launch tekkit i get "oh noes! our tumblr feed is down"

Description of Problem:

when i launch tekkit the launch screen will pop up but it will say "oh noes! our tumblr feed is down" and where i would log in it would say could not connect to minecraft.net

i meant windows xp :/

You know so many people have this problem and so did i and it always has to do with the java.

Just downgrade the java 7 to java 6 and it should be fine.
