Would someone help? Pumps, forcefield

I need help on knowing how pumps work, and the most efficiant way to power a forcefield. im messing with them both in single player

a forcefeild can be powered by any large source of power, and an MFSU, i recommend 5 HV solar panels or 2 mk2 nuclear reactors, as for the pumps, which pumps redpower or buildcraft

Actually, a forcefield really only needs one HV solar array, or less, depending on the size of the forcefield you're projecting.

For small forcefields, a LV or an MV solar array are more than sufficient, and you should never need to use a nuke power plant to power your forcefields (unless the powerplant is powermultiple forcefield cores and/or projectors)
