An excpetion occured during a webclient request

Launcher Version: 3.1.2

Operating System: windows 7 home edition

Java Version: 64 bit operating system (i think)

Antivirus Program: none

Description of Problem:

this is the first time i have ever tried to play technic pack, so im not too impressed. when i launch the technic pack launcher, the bubble comes up that says "downloading launcher (3/3)". But on top of that, an error bubble appears, only containing one word: error. the title of the bubble reads: "An exception occurred during a WebClient requ..."

I really want to start playing tekkit, and i was very happy to finally have it, but now that i tried to run it, it wont work. I was really looking forward to this, so i would be very happy if someone could please help me. Thanx for reading, please help.

OP, 64 bit OS is not a Java version. What browser are you using? Also, don't sign your posts-it's against the rules and will get you Keller'd.

Mavepd, if you are having the same problem, make your own bug report. More often than not the issues are different.
