my technic launcher wont lanch

my technic lancher wont lanch it just shows the technic

pitcher and stays there im on a windows 7 pc and want to know if its somthing to do with the new update or

something went wrong ive tried all the launchers (evan mac a linux) and it still wont work please help! :'(

Try using the .bin file instead of the launcher.

No, as soon as you open the technic folder from your appdata/roaming folder there should be a .bin file in it. If there isn't, I don't think there is much else I could provide.

thanks for your help but there is no .bin in there is it somthing with the launcher?

No it's not in the launcher. This means that you need to go here: https://github.com/TechnicPack/Spoutcraft-Launcher/downloads and download the launcher.jar.

I also have the same, or similar problem to OP's.

This is the average log I get with using either the .jar and .exe files.

Running Windows 7 64bit with java 6/7 (both give the same result).

Not sure if the final hang on the splash screen is due to the failed download of the checksum? Through a browser the link is fine, but if I use the Launcher it seems to fail. (Have tried turning off all resemblances of firewalls.)
