Moving oil long distances tp pipe problems.

Hi, I have a problem with teleporting oil over large distances. It seems that for some reason (which I guessed is because of chunk loading?) my pumps don't pump oil if i'm not next to them. So my question is, does anybody know a way of making the chunk load when i'm not there? Otherwise transporting oil from long distances just wont work. Kind of spoils the idea of the mod. Or am I doing something really stupid? Thanks for any advice in advance.

You have to put down a chunk loader block. Recipe is 1 lapis lazuli surrounded by iron ingots. Makes 4 blocks.

so just put that right next to the pump? I just have to place it and not do anything else?

You have to put it in whatever chunks you want to keep loaded.

Just put it down and walk away. That's all you have to do.

Indeed the chunk loader block keeps your chunks loaded but to be sure that they are loaded you can use f9. This will then show red lines around the chunks that are loaded. You can use f9 again to turn it off.
