How do I run a Tekkit server?

I hate to be a newbie, but I'm clueless. I have set up a normal Minecraft server, so I have set up a port on my router etc.

I downloaded the 2.1.1 server at http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/ and opened the file. I tried clicking on 'launch.bat' and it opens a window that resembles the command prompt. It just says press any key to continue and then it closes.

Again, I'm sorry to be asking such an easy question, but we all start somewhere :)
