Is it possible to add an extra mod into Technic?

I am building something in creative but I need to stop ice from melting with a light source by it, so is it possible to install a mod into technic?

Yes, there are a few guides around here just try using the search box and you should find some informative guides. One thing to note is that any mod that normally goes into the minecraft.jar should instead go into the modpack.jar.
