Connection Refused. (Please Help!)

So i have created my first Tekkit server. There is only one problem, none of my friends nor myself can connect through my server ip. I am able to connect through the localhost but not through the ip itself. I know that the ports are all forwarded correctly as i can connect to just my plain MC sever.

Any help would be awesome!

I am having the issue too, I get the message "Can't read server" and he gets "connection refused"

having same issue i turned off reg mc server which works .. so port is forwarded..

no one else can log in
