How to downgrade tekkit

My friend made a server he dident update it and i did so with my tekkit.Now to play with my friend i have to downgrade tekkit.If anybody read this post and knows how please tell me.

If I'm right about this, go to the "Options" in the launcher (make sure you've selected Tekkit first!), go to "Select version manually" or something like that and then choose the version in the drop down menu. However, not EVERY version is there anymore and older versions might not be available.
