Technic Launcher Freezing

Description of Problem:

I open up the Launcher and it has the logo, it then goes to the open page, i type in my mc Username and password, Select tekkit (or any other mods for that matter) and it starts to run, it will then freeze whilst loading, and It doesnt work, i will close it and retry, and the same thing happens

To clarify, is it a download issue or does it give you a white/black screen? Some more info would be helpful.
