Fibre Cable Disconnecting me when placed

So when i go to place Glass Fibre cable, it Disconnects me instantly...

I just installed tekkit on the server today..

Also just tried copper cable and same thing happens..

that's because either the server or you have a corrupted IC2 mod file. Deleting and re-downloading tekkit should fix the problem, and if it doesnt it's the server's fault because it has a corrupted mod file. Re-downloading the server should fix the problem

I did some more messing around in the files and got it working
