Description of Problem:

When I start up Tekkit, I press Login and it goes to the Mojang screen, followed by plain dirt texture, followed by white.

Three things.

First, 3.12 is your modpack version, not the launcher version.

Second, any error that occurs after the Mojang logo appears is a Modpack error, which doesn't belong in the Launcher errors forum.

Thirdly, you've neglected to provide the error log, which is required if you actually want a solution.
